At CANINE KING, we specialize in positive reinforcement training methods that foster trust and respect between you and your dog. We tailor our training programs to meet the unique needs of each dog and owner, ensuring effective results
I live and train locally in the Westchester/Bronx area and I've been a certified trainer (www.ccpdt.org) for over 23 years; I continuously educate myself in all things dog by attending seminars and workshops presented by some of the finest dog trainers, behaviorists and veterinarians in the country. I have worked and volunteered with shelters and rescues in NYC, Westchester and Duchess County, and I am currently a consulting trainer with Animal Care Center of NYC. Their community pets program offers training services to owners in need, to help keep pets in their home and out of the busy shelter system. In 2013 I founded a non-profit rescue, www.bestbullies.org in which we rescue dogs and cats from high volume shelters then get them the medical help they need and train them to become wonderful adoptable pets.
I currently have 3 Chihuahua's, an American Bully, and one pet rat.
